I wouldn’t really call this a quote. This is just real life. It didn’t take much to say this. I usually say what’s on my mind…

New Music Video by my young boy Blake Kelly, song is called “I’d be Damned”. He just dropped a mixtape called Forest Fires that can be downloaded on his website www.ROCKSTARBK.com, and it’s plenty more videos there too. I like to see when unsigned artist put effort into their own career. That makes labels come find you instead of you looking for them. Its a pet peeve when artist email me and say “are you looking for artist”. Just work hard and make your own mark in the industry, and if i can ask 10 people in your hometown if they know you and the answer is “nah, i aint heard of him/her” then your not working hard enough.

Over the weekend i decided to open up iMovie on my mac and get my creative juices flowing. I decided to show the fans what back stage looks like. Basically, people acting silly, eating, farting, playing basketball, etc.. In the intro Sammie talks about how the EP “Its Time” and the “Coming of Age” album will piece his story together. So with the music, we decided to put together a DVD that gives everything a visual. More behind the scenes action, studio sessions, back stage at concerts, paying bills, everything that shows you the life of a star. Its not a secret. So below is the video, check it out and enjoy…

I heard news of the multiple video conferencing weeks and the beta is finally up for download. For those of you who head over to Skype’s site and give it a test drive, Skype 5.0 Beta will offer support for group video calls with up to four people, allowing most of your family to look at you at the same time. That’s what you wanted, right?

If this ain’t the coolest shh i’ve seen all day, then i don’t what is.

Getting tired of your standard-issue white Wii console?  Well then fret no more, your prayers have been answered. Nintendo announced the release of its new Black Wii, a console that will come packaged with Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and the control-enhancing Wii MotionPlus accessory.  Both the new black edition, became available stateside May 9th, and all subsequent white consoles will still sell for $199, and both models will come with the aforementioned games and accessories included.  If I were you, I would go for the black one—white Wii consoles just scream “I’m stuck in 2007!

I had a post like this on my blog site BoogieWorld.com but i must do it for this site. Below i will list things that are a must within this industry, and if you don’t have them then get with the program. I have all these things and im always prepared for the occasion!

I feel as if all of these items are needs to managing the career of an artist. These things will help you to be organized and know the answers to all questions. If i don’t know, its somewhere in my backpack.

Of course, 1st on my list is a Macbook Pro. You can get them for about $1200. Emails, websites, photos, videos, etc. I spend about 85% of my days on my laptop. Editing videos of my artist, emailing contracts, navigating all my favorite blog sites to understand whats going on in my industry, etc. Video conferencing on oovoo or skype with my homies in other cities, I’ve even conducted a meeting with 4 people and all us were in different states. Apple computers are very user friendly and easy to learn.

Drake took a seat from rapping and took it to singing which his mixtape fans aren’t opposed too. He raps in his mixtapes about his dreams of being an r&b singer, i think he got some motivation from Kanye West r&b album on this track which is who produced it. This is the 2nd single off his debut album “Thank me Later” that i heard was pushed back til June 15
