In a time where unemployment rates are higher then ever and people are losing their homes, there is no better time than now to unite and come together as one. Haiti has suffered from a massive earthquake, thousands of lives have been lost, shelter erased and food and water supply are limited. Because of this misfortune, let’s not only pray for those effected by this unfortunate tragedy but also lend a helping hand – even a dollar to show support! Haiti, we love you. I love you and we are in this together. God is still good and my best wishes to you all!

What is iRelief: a promotional organization in progress. Started by Starr McRae and two Wyclef Jean interns who work closely with his foundation, Yele Haiti. iRelief is geared toward offering relief to areas that are suffering. It’s a one-stop shop web site for those who need info of local relief efforts whether it be an address to a drop off donation zone or seeing which Haiti benefit events are going on in their area.

What is Sammie contributing: Became a celebrity partner. By that, he agrees to spread the word via social networks and his own site. Because celebrities have a strong following on social networks, a simple message from Sammie would be all the difference of people knowing what relief efforts are going on across the country.

Big Boi’s Big Kidz Foundation and CARE-humanitarian aid agency joined forces to party with a purpose.  Antwan “Big Boi’ Patton, Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall, Sammie and other celebrity guest partied for a cause at RARE. All proceeds from the event benefited Care’s Haitian Relief Efforts.
