Sammie’s Youth Foundation Empowerment pre-Tour will visited Maynard Jackson High School today exciting more than 300 students about education and using music to make their dreams a reality.

Sammie formulated an experience that encompasses personal testimonies and music performances to past the wisdom of one young generation to the next. This visit is the last of three included in the Empowerment pre-Tour followed by “Sammie’s Youth Foundation” 20-School Empowerment Tour set to launch in January.

“Education and music equally have been a part of my life and I’ve been blessed to make smart choices that enabled me to share my story with my peers,” said founder/CEO, Sammie Bush. “After the event is over I hope to have highlighted the importance of education and how youth can prepare for tomorrow by incorporating their individual passions.”

The foundation is an Atlanta-based organized and its focus is to encourage youth to respect their parents, value education and embrace their music abilities by engaging in positive music-related activities to help their individual communities.

With “It’s bigger than music. It’s education” being the foundation’s slogan, Sammie shared his experience as a child born into stardom and how he maintained his family values, morals and most of all – continuing his education.
